Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Saturday August 9, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Sheriff's Office located in the county of the arrest.

Andrew J Bowman-Murrietta, 18, of Aragon was arrested and charged with financial transaction card fraud. Bowman-Murrietta was released on 8/10 on a $1,100 OT bond.
Gary Lee Clackum, 45, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with criminal trespass under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Clackum was released on 8/11 on a $1,100 OT bond. See also (3/3/2013)
Christy Nicole Cooper, 42, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with public drunkenness. Cooper remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $205.50 cash bond has been set.
William David Graham, 35, of Buchanan was arrested and charged with DUI-drugs, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related object, suspended license, impeding traffic flow, brake light violation and a warrant for failure to appear. Mercy W Macharia, 42, of Acworth was arrested and charged with making false statements in matters within state jurisdiction. Macharia was released on 8/11 after posting a $1,100 property bond.
John Edward Swindall, 47, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and a head light violation. Swindall remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $5,300 have been set.
Robert K Walding, 29, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Walding remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (10/23/2013)
Brandon Lamar Wood, 31, of Auburn was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Wood was released the same day after posting a $505.50 cash or $1010 property bond.
