Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday August 6, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Sheriff's Office located in the county of the arrest.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Javier Marquias Ayala, 20, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn, no seat belt, expired tag and no insurance. Ayala was released the same day after posting property bonds totaling $2,360. See also (5/13/2014)

Derek Nicholas Baines, 22, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Baines was released the same day after posting a $1,620 property bond.

Elree Cox Jr., 68, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Cox was released on 8/7 after posting property bonds totaling $22,100.

Joshua Isaiah Cox, 23, of Rome was arrested and charged with interfering with child custody. Cox remains in custody at the time of this publication. Property bonds totaling $10,200 have been set.

Julia Ann Cox, 66, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Cox was released on 8/7 after posting property bonds totaling $22,100.

Lacy Jade Harris, 25, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA). Harris was released on 8/8 after posting a $1,100 property bond.

Amy Sherelle Ingle, 37, of Aragon was arrested on a felony warrant for probation violation. Ingle remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (3/17/2014)

Joshua Kennard Jackley, 24, of Dallas was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, carrying a pistol without a license, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a drug related object and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

Candence Mullinax Jones, 34, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with DUI-drugs (less safe). Jones was released the same day after posting a $2,430 property bond.

Terri Mitchell, 55, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Mitchell remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $2,100 property bond has been set.

Billy Joe Moody Jr, 22, of Cedartown was booked into the Polk County jail pending Superior Court charges. See also (5/20/2014)

Laryan Walker, 26, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Walker remains in custody with bond denied at the time of this publication. See also (5/1/2014)
