Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Friday August 30, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Stephanie Ann Baldwin, 27, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. A previous bond has also been dropped. Baldwin remains in custody at the time of this publication. James Crawford Barclay, 42, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with driving while license withdrawn. Barclay was released on 9/3 after posting a $1,800 property bond. See also (7/7/2013)
Wayne Franklin Christian, 38, of Rome was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane. Christian was released on 9/1 after serving 72 hours.
Jana Dean Godfrey, 32, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with criminal damage. Godfrey was released the same day after posting a $1,100 property bond.
Deven Brady Peace, 19, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm. A previous bond has also been dropped. Amanda Lynn Smith, 30, of Rome is currently housed at the Polk County jail for court date. See also (6/21/2013)
Taylor Nicole Thompson, 18, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting. Taylor was released on 8/31 afer posting a $1,000 property bond.
