Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday August 21, 2013. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Justin Van Adams, 23, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with burglary and first degree arson. Adams was released on 8/21 after posting to property bonds totaling $20,100. See also (11/4/2012) (8/8/2011)
Joseph Lee Byrd, 34, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with giving a false name of date of birth. Byrd remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $550 property bond has been set. See also (11/28/2012)
Drexter Eugene Chubb, 29, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with 9 counts forgery, 9 counts theft by receiving and probation violation. Chubb remains in custody at the time of this publication. See also (2/9/2010)
Melvin Antonio Cruz, 24, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while unlicensed and a safety belt requirement. Cruz was released on 8/23 after posting two property bonds totaling $1,430. See also (4/16/2010)
Rita Faye Deems, 45, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. Deems was released the same day after posting a $450 property bond. See also (3/29/2013)
Travis Vance Ferguson, 26, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Cedartown municipal court.

Adam Lee Grace, 24, of Aragon was arrested and charged with false report of theft of motor vehicle, no insurance, texting while driving, cancelled registration and failure to maintain lane. Five property bonds totaling $3,700 have been set. See also (7/1/2013) (7/14/2012) (7/7/2012) (9/30/2009)
