Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Wednesday April 30, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Anita Gillette Alford, 42, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting and resisting arrest. Alford remains in custody at the time of this publication. Rebecca Nicole Armstrong, 24, of Rome was arrested and charged with cruelty to children. Armstrong was released on 5/1 after posting a $4,100 property bond.

James William Bishop, 57, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Rockmart municipal court and a warrant for probation violation. Bishop was released on 5/1 after paying a $485 cash fine and $683 to probation violation.

Frankie Eugene Brown, 54, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Brown remains in custody at the time of this publication. A cash bond of $1,105 has been set. See also (10/3/2009)

Kimberly Collum, 44, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, giving false name and date of birth and resisting arrest. Taylor Eugene Crawford, 17, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with burglary, simple battery, public drunkenness and criminal trespass. Crawford was released on 5/1 after posting four property bonds totaling $4,100.

Justin Henry Fields, 29, of Lithia Springs was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving on suspended license. Fields remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $900 cash bond has been set. See also (9/30/2013)

Michael Dakota Myhand, 18, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Myhand remains in custody at the time of this publication. A $300 property bond has been set. See also (4/12/2014)

Thomas Watson Smith, 37, of Rome was arrested and charged with theft by receiving. Smith was released the same day after posting a $5,100 property bond.
