Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday April 29, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.
The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.
Rita Glines, 63, of Rockmart was arrested twice in one day. The first arrest was for public drunk and the second arrest was for third degree cruelty to children, disorderly conduct and disorderly house. Glines remains in custody with no bond set at the time of this publication.
Christopher James Harris, 25, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with theft of mislaid property. Harris was released on 4/30 after posting a $600 property bond.
William Terry Key, 59, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Nina Renae Meredith, 38, of Summerville was arrested on a warrant for endangering a security interest. Meredith was released the same day after posting a $500 property bond.
Cody Allen Myers, 22, of Rockmart was arrested and charged with obstruction and a felony warrant for probation violation. Myers remains in custody at the time of this publication.
