Listed below is the Polk County arrest report for Tuesday April 15, 2014. The report includes a complete list of arrests, information regarding prior arrests, bonding information and available inmate photos. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest reports within this list do not reflect the actual guilt or innocence of the individual or individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest or charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or an acquittal will be determined by the court system.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the embedded links within each list to view the complete prior arrests report. Links to arrests prior to 2009 will not be included.

Shawntisa Nicole Bray, 26, of Rockmart was arrested on a warrant out of Hiram. Bray remains in custody at the Paulding County Detention Center at the time of this publication.

Nemecio Chavez-Acevedo, 69, of Cartersville was arrested and charged with driving while license expired, no proof of insurance and running a red light. Chavez-Acevedo was released the same day after posting three cash bonds totaling $950.

Steve Alan Kinard, 35, of Cedartown was arrested for failure to pay child support. Kinard was released the same day ater posting a $5,000 property bond. See also (3/20/2014)

Jose Artur Pineda-Becerra, 40, of Cedartown was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended. Pineda-Becerra was released the same day after posting two property bonds totaling $720.

Mark Anthony Smith, 38, of was arrested on a warrant out of Paulding County. Smith remains in custody at the Paulding County Detention Center at the time of this publication.
