The public’s concern over weapons is accepted, the power presented to determine the fate of others is one requiring responsible actions. But determining individual citizens are not responsible, and governmental authority is, does not follow any facts or evidence. Nor does the overwhelming attitude of the NRA work; it has long since been the voice of firearm manufactures. Future needs and rights are being outlined today by both sides of this matter; neither political agendas are listen or learning. Private citizens risk everyday for what they believe in, following political agendas where there are no real facts is foolish. There must be better means presented to the public, so understanding of all sides is achieved, this is not likely with only self-promotion involved.
The public has a growing concern over the amount of weapons available, and the increasing report of tragedies reported present a reality available already. The difference is the means to teach moral intentions and provide public safety at the same time, one governments lack responsibility over. Authority individuals are taking actions, doing so without information by the simplest reality they know little to nothing about what they talk about. The Feinstein’s Weapons banning started with a press conference, the senator speaks how no one brought to court the Brady law, yet violence did not go down. This attitude prevails among many, the simple fear of the unknown and the unwillingness to learn shows the closed mind. Believing no lawsuit was issued, thus providing means to gather more governmental authority, is not supportive of the reality of violence.
Government authority figures say the public is not responsible enough to have weapons, yet how many of in authority have lied, some to get into office others simply stating they did not mean for others to consider they spoke the truthful. The same accuse common citizens who have done nothing wrong, and offer no means to control those who have broken the laws. Private ownership of weapons is necessary, our founding fathers determined this and it has been repeated in many cases over history. But public authority does not accept individual rights; instead those wanting collective controls regard private protection as an obstacle. Offering to stop all carnage if rules are applied to weapons, yet we do have laws and the human rights abuses continue. Nor does it help to have an overwhelming influence from those who receive benefit from firearms sales.
Any organize, especially those political inclined, become focused only on the agenda proposed by those supplying funds, as such the NRA has become focused on firearms manufactures. The need to gain funds in a constant political fight has aligned NRA funding with manufactures desires. The diversity offered by the membership is not centered around the manufacturing of firearms, but the enjoyment and beauty of them. The political fight over Second Amendment rights has refocused the NRA into one direction as time evolved. The future is coming fast and hard upon us all, as is the need to refocus our political agendas to fit a future we determine, not the money behind corporations.
Political agendas focusing hard on something forget alternatives and even regard any managerial focus as oppressive and offensive. The many stories from history show how political agendas get out of control, it is with a reasonable mind we determine the outcomes. But first we must be willing to reason and this involves finding the facts, not just the opinions based on hip. And secondly, be willing to listen to all sides, all points of view so the diversity we share is not lost. Those offering authority to gun violence, are only stating legal citizens who are breaking the law should suffer.
But gun violence is rarely preformed by those who keep the law; instead it is done by those who have worked themselves up to breaking the laws. Feeling justified by whatever the reasons, these same individuals now take lives, as if those lives belong to them to take. Thus predetermining others are nothing but some kind of property, or even they have special rights to harm others. This is not a sane mind this is madness and lacks the morals or character of the majority. Governmental authority is not directed against them, but against the easy targets, those citizens obeying the laws.
It has been easy in the past to direct political desires against those seen as weaker, yet it has also be wrong to attack simple because you see yourself a invincible. If the majority rule is to stand, it must stand by the majority being of sound mind and consciousness. Governmental authority can not declare the citizenship insane simple to push an agenda, especially if the same citizenship votes authority into place. But those who have little reasoning or information do want just that, an agenda with out limits pushed upon the public by first considering the public insane. Then who has authority or power to direct the same government?
