Polis Crusher is one of the newest "Theros" spoilers revealed today Sept. 2, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set in a post to Reddit by Trick Jarrett.
Polis Crusher - 2RG
Creature - Cyclops
Trample, protection from enchantments
4RG: Monstrosity 3. (If this creature isn't monstrous, put three +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes monstrous.)
Whenever Polis Crusher deals combat damage to a player, if Polis Crusher is monstrous, destroy target enchantment that player controls.
In a block filled with creatures that are also enchantments, Polis Crusher evades a good chunk of blockers. Not even the gods of "Theros" like Heliod or Nylea can stand in Polis Crusher's path and he won't be Chained to the Rocks anytime soon. On the flip side, Polis Crusher can play defensive until you've acquired enough resources to make it into a really terrifying monster.
It's when Polis Crusher becomes monstrous that this cyclops becomes truly interesting. Polis Crusher transforms into a devastating 7/7 trampler that can take out any enchantment your rival controls whenever it connects with that player. With so many enchantments in the set, there's a large chance your opponent will have at least one.
Polis Crusher may compete with Ghor-Clan Rampager for the same spot. It'll depend on how many enchantments from "Theros" see competitive play to figure out if just a couple of them should be ran main deck or if an entire play set should be in the sideboard.
One thing's for certain though: Polis Crusher will be a real monster in limited.
How will you use Polis Crusher?
