Watch out! A crazy 1990's late model Ford Mustang going about 140-160mph tries to out run state and federal officials on an expressway. Increased traffic density ahead. Spun out several times, the Mustang keeps doing reverse 180's to keep the lead on police. This guy can really drive! The vehicle looks to be a later model 1995-2000 Ford Mustang. It's funny to watch this guy try to get away.
This Mustang really has potential to make power. A lot of cars are all show and no go, but the skill of this driver tells me that there is more done to this car than what meets the eye. Anyone who can drive like this, really knows their stuff. He even took it down the off ramp hill and maintained a lead on police. Weaving in and out of traffic on the interstate, the helicopter was having a hard time keeping up with him!
Mustangs are known for performance, and this criminal knew it. He took full advantage of the car during this chase. Obviously an experienced driver, but not smart enough to realize he can't out run the radio. The combination of a performance vehicle and good driver can be an amazing or dangerous thing. Here is some quick estimated specifications on the Ford Mustang.

Video: Police vs Street Racer
Unfortunately, police chase videos are a great way to measure a car's integrity, strength, capability, and over all performance. Several police chase video's have performance cars and I am currently researching them. I've found several great video's I'll be sharing with you. Check back often.

Dude knows how to drive but I question the car after the first spin out. He should have been able to accelerate away from that patrol car. I wonder if something happened to the Mustang or if the dude was simply having fun with the cops..lol. great video!
