Police swarm Chris Brown's home over a call of domestic violence

According to TMZ, on the afternoon of Jan. 21, 2013, police were called to the home of the famous singer Chris Brown. Police received a call from an anonymous source claiming that a domestic incident took place and that a gun was involved. The caller stated that a mother and father in the home were arguing and that the father went to grab his gun from another room. After releasing the information, the individual hung up the phone and was not identified.

The police swarmed to Brown's home to find that no one was there and that there was no evidence of any dispute. Brown has made no comment in regards to the incident. The police stated that the caller did not mention that it was the home of Chris Brown, all though they would have responded the same way regardless.

Brown is not the first celebrity to have police at their house for false calls claiming domestic violence. Bruce and Kris Jenner fell victim to the same prank less than a week before this incident took place. Someone called and said that there was a domestic incident involving a gun at their residence. Police discovered that nothing was happening at the residence and that it was a prank call. The Los Angeles Police Department has stated that they are determined to find who is making the calls and charge them accordingly.
