Police Seeking Shooting Suspect


Northfield Police are searching for a man by the name of Joshua Paul Barron. He is 26 years old.

It is believed that Barron was involved in some sort of domestic dispute at a home in Northfield and when the 51 year old victim attempted to leave the scene, Barron pulled a rifle from his car and shot at the victim's vehicle numerous times, hitting the victim once.


Although being shot, the victim was able to drive away to a nearby Diary Queen where the police were contacted. The victim is currently at HCMC in fair condition.


It is believed that Barron could be driving a grey or silver 2006 Chevrolet Silverado.

    It seems to me that if Miranda's mother would have called the authorities instead of her x-husband, whom she is well aware of causing harm to another, to get involved in this already emotional domestic situation, things could have been handled much better. Did she really want her grandchildren to be present when all this violence took place. I feel sorry for the children.
