Police are searching for a man who they believe is a person of interest in the murder of a man who was found shot multiple times last month in southwest Atlanta. And they are seeking the public’s help in finding him.
Late Friday, they released a video showing the man they are searching for. He is seen using a microwave inside a convenience store.
The time on the surveillance footage indicates the man was in the store hours before the victim was found shot to death.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 22, police were called to 99 Spring St. where they found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Atlanta police report.
There were no eyewitnesses at the time, police said.
The victim was later identified as Mr. Todd Burkes, 28, of Jonesboro, according to police. They have released no motive for the murder or provide any details on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspect or suspects.
