Colorado Springs police are searching for a woman who they say intentionally struck and injured her boyfriend Tuesday night.

The Colorado Springs Police Department responded at around 11 PM to a reported disturbance at a home in the 300 block of University Drive. Upon arrival, the police discovered an injured man in the roadway. He was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and police reported that their investigation revealed that he had been intentionally hit by a vehicle.

The police later obtained an arrest warrant for 43-year-old Charmain Trujillo, the victim's girlfriend, on a charge of second degree assault.
