Police search for suspect in East Cobb homicide

A man was found dead yesterday morning morning inside an East Cobb county home, and according to Cobb County police, the death has been ruled as a homicide.

Per Sgt. Dana Pierce with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office, investigators were dispatched on Monday evening, around 6:30 p.m., to the 2800 block of Marietta's Gracewood Drive, close too Holly Springs Road. When the investigators arrived, a man was found dead inside the home. His name has yet to be released.

Although the cause of death isn't being officially released until an autopsy reported is conducted, police speculate that the victim was purposely killed. Anyone with any information is urged to call the Cobb County Detective Bureau at 770-499-3945.
