Baltimore Police are investigating an attempted sexual assault which occurred in the 3600 block of Greenway / 3500 University Parkway around 6:30 pm on Thursday evening. A female victim advised Baltimore Police that she and a friend were seated in a park when an unknown black male approached them in an attempt to make conversation. A short time later, the suspect exposed himself and threatened the victims. While attempting to flee, the suspect tackled the victim and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim was able to break free without any injury. The unknown male fled the location on foot and was last seen heading eastbound toward Guilford Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male, early 20's approximately 5'07"/5"08", about 140 lbs and wearing very dark clothing (click here for a larger view of the suspect’s sketch).
Detectives from the Northern District and the Baltimore Police Special Investigations Unit are investigating and have developed a composite sketch of the suspect for public dissemination.
