A woman was allegedly forced to perform adult acts on a man while he held a gun to her head over the weekend in Columbia.
On Tuesday police released a sketch of the suspect with a warning to anyone who might see him – consider him armed and dangerous.
The alleged victim told police she was walking along the 5900 block of Main Street when a man in a newer model red sedan approached her, offering her a ride, according to Columbia police.
After repeatedly telling him no, the woman said she finally got into his car and the man then drove to the 4800 block of Muir Street.
“The suspect allegedly held a gun to her head and forced her to perform sexual acts on him,” Ms. Timmons said. “The victim later managed to get out of the car after telling the suspect that she was about to get physically sick.”
When the suspect pulled the car over to the side of the road, the victim escaped and hid until she saw the man drive away.
She then called 911. Paramedics transported the woman to a local hospital for medical attention.
The woman described the suspect as a thin, black man between 40 and 50 years old with an extremely dark complexion, an oval-shaped face, and a bald head with ears that ‘stick out.’
She added that he appeared to have some kind of scarring on his cheeks, possibly from acne, and several top teeth with gold crowns.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with a yellow ‘crest-like shield’ emblem or symbol with light colored blue jeans and possibly boots.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at (888) 274-6372.
