Police race to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's home when panic button is set off

The local police, complete with a helicopter, raced to the home of Oklahoma's own Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's home in California when the alarm from within the home sounded. According to a report dated Jan. 5, one of the children had pushed the panic button.

TMZ also reported on Jan. 5 that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not home at the time. The nanny on duty explained that it was a mistake when the police arrived, letting them know one of the children had hit the panic button.

“My alarm company charges a fine when my alarm goes off accidentally,” Martha Lucas, from Warr Acres, said. “So does the police. If I hit the panic button, the fine is even higher. I wonder if they had to pay a fine. Not that it matters; Brad [Pitt] and Angeline [Jolie] have more than enough money to pay it.”

At the time of publication, it was unknown where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were at when the alarm sounded. It was also unknown if the alarm are truly an accident or if one of the children “panicked” for some reason, seeing the police only spoke with the nanny.
