A Maywood man was arrested after he showed up to court yesterday for a bond hearing for two alleged fellow dog fighters.

After he was arrested, Sheriff's police say they found a video on his cell phone in which another man sets a live animal on fire and burns it to death.

Martez Anderson is one of three men charged with felony dog fighting in connection with a ring operating out of a Maywood home which also served as as day care center.

Nine dogs and puppies were rescued with varying degrees of injuries, including broken and chewed legs and a gouged eye.

Bond was set at $500,000 yesterday for the two friends Anderson came to court to see.

They are Charles Sutton, 42, and Lance Webb, 27. Both are from Maywood.

Sutton's wife operated the daycare center, which has since been shut down.
