Monday, Newberg-Dundee police held a press conference calling for help in the search of Jennifer Huston, a mom and wife from Dundee since she went missing Thursday after purchasing gas at a station in Newberg. Her credit cards and phone have not been used since then.
Huston’s husband, Kallen Huston emotionally took the podium and explained that disappearing was unlike her and that she’d complained of a headache for three days before the last time she was seen, but is otherwise completely healthy and plugged in with her family and friends. Huston asked for everyone "Look off to the left and to the side of the highways," he said. "Her car is very large. It would wipe out any shrubs or small trees. I have a feeling she's in a ditch somewhere."
Jennifer Huston is a 38 year old woman and mother to two boys, ages 3 and 6. She was driving their 1999 Lexus LX 470 with Oregon plates WXH 011.
Officers say this is not a case of foul play at this time. They are treating it as a missing person investigation.
“I’d like to stress this is totally unlike her,” her husband said through his emotions, “She’s a devoted mother. She’s just a very good person. For her to do something like this is completely out of the norm. All of her friends would agree.”
Kallen also stated that they have reached out to all of their friends from Texas to Japan to get the word out that she is missing.
The Hustons were getting ready to celebrate 10 years of marriage in the near future.
