Polar Bites, an annual fundraiser for the Buffalo Zoo, will take place Thursday, February 21st from 6 to 9 p.m., upstairs at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on Franklin St. in downtown Buffalo. The event showcases some of the area’s top restaurants, wineries and breweries while helping out the Zoo.
Tickets for Polar Bites include unlimited samples of local food, wine and beer as well as access to specialty vendors and live entertainment. There will also be raffle and auction opportunities and visits from the Zoo’s animal ambassadors.
Tickets for Polar Bites are $35 in advance and $45 at the door; a limited number of VIP passes may still be available for $60 each. This is a 21-and-over event.
For another Zoo event, check out “Jungle Love,” taking place Saturday, February 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Zoo, located at 300 Parkside Ave. in Buffalo. Buffalo Zoo President/CEO Donna M.
