It's Polar Bear Days at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo from January 2 - 31, 2013. Whenever the high temperature for the day is 32 degrees or below, it will be declared a "Polar Bear Day." That means visitors receive half-price admission, so adults can get in for $4.25 and children for $2.75. Kids under age 2 and Zoo members get in for free. To confirm a Polar Bear Day at the Zoo, visit the Zoo's website or call (216) 661-6500. The Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You will find plenty to see and do at the Zoo. In Northern Trek, polar bears, along with other winter-loving animals including wolves, tigers, and reindeer, are at their most active at this time of year. If you prefer warm and cozy, visit The Rain Forest where it's always a balmy 80 degrees.
