It all began yesterday morning with Kula's posting of this status:

Something wrong with celebrities organizing around defending Polanski.Yes, there was judicial misconduct 31 years ago and questions why the LA DA has gone after him now but yikes:did you read the transcript on what he did to 13 year old girl? With unaccountable celebrities, unaccountable government, unaccountable Wall Street real disconnect between the powerful and the people. Dangerous tears in the social contract.
