Poker Tournament to Benefit Valley Center Schools Set for Feb. 16

Cards will be in the air Saturday, February 16th, at Wichita's St. Jude Catholic Church as an 8th annual poker tournament benefitting Valley Center School District 262 gets started at 1 pm. The church is located at 3030 N. Amidon Ave, in Wichita. Doors will open at 11:30 am. Suggested donation per person is $75. For an additional donation of $40 donation players can land a seat at a dealer dealt game rather than a player dealt game. As with the recent Cards for the Cure poker tournament GEM (Gaming Entertainment Management) will be running the event. Complementary drinks and lunch will be served to all players.

The field will be playing for a top prize of $2,500. 10 total places will be paid, with the tenth place finisher winning $150.
