Players will have to catch them all again this October after Nintendo announced two new titles Monday in the ongoing "Pokemon" franchise.

"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be available worldwide exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS during the month of Halloween. The two games will feature new Pokémon, a new storyline with 3D visuals and dynamic battles.

"The worldwide launch of 'Pokémon X' and 'Pokémon Y' this October allows players to begin their adventures at the same time," said Tsunekazu Ishihara, CEO of The Pokémon Company. "Now, Pokémon fans across the globe can discover the secrets of Pokémon games and can collect, battle, and trade with each other immediately."

The game will feature three new starting Pokémon: Fennekin (fire), Froakie (water) and Chespin (grass). Two new legendary Pokémon will be included -- an unnamed stag with rainbow antlers and a ruby bird. This will be the first Pokémon game to be rendered fully in 3D.

The news was announced with a video showcasing some of the latest visuals of the new games.
