'Pokemon X and Y' has been officially announced, new details arrive (Photos)

On Jan. 8, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company officially announce two new Pokémon games that is in development. These two titles are named Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, of which will both be releasing on the Nintendo 3DS platform. Now that we are being granted further information regarding these two titles, an article posted by Inquisitr earlier today provided a few important details regarding these games. First off, it is stated that these two titles will run on a brand-new 3D engine for the Nintendo 3DS. Through the use of this new engine, this will provide Pokémon players the first opportunity to transverse through a fully 3D environment.

Through the release of these two titles, Pokémon players will be presented with a variety of new monsters. It has been revealed that the official name for these new monsters are Xerneas and Yveltal, respective to the letter that has been provided with each title.

The worldwide launch of ‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Pokemon Y’ this October allows players to begin their adventures at the same time. Now, ‘Pokemon’ fans across the globe can discover the secrets of ‘Pokemon’ games and can collect, battle, and trade with each other immediately.
