Nintendo has revealed the official artwork, screens and details for Sylveon in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by All Games Beta on Feb. 14, the new creature, which was previously known by its Japanese name of Ninfia, is the eighth possible evolved form of Eevee. You can check out the new Sylveon artwork and screens, as well as several older shots from the handheld role-playing game, in the slideshow at the top of this article. The details can be found below (courtesy of All Games Beta):
The new Pokemon, Sylveon, is a new evolution of Eevee, one of the most beloved Pokemon since it was first discovered in Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue. Players with Eevee can evolve it into one of seven evolutions, like Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Sylveon will be the eighth Eevee evolution.
Sylveon is the sixth new creature to make its debut in “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” The starters (with Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie) in addition to the legendaries (with Xerneas and Yveltal) make up the other five.
The handheld video games are currently being developed by Game Freak, the same studio that worked on the other mainline games in the series. Both titles will be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS later this year. You can pre-order the products in the following links: “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y”
