‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Pokemon Y’ missing from Nintendo’s PAX East 2013 (Photos)

“Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” won’t be in the lineup of games Nintendo will be showcasing in the upcoming PAX East 2013. According to a report by Nintendo Everything on March 19, the publisher will focus instead on the spin-off title, “Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity,” which can be bought at the event before its retail release. You can check out some screens from the two mainline “Pokemon” games in the slideshow at the top of this article in addition to the full lineup of Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U titles for this year’s PAX East below (courtesy of Nintendo Everything):

Wii U games and applications scheduled to be shown at the booth include:

  • Pikmin 3 from Nintendo
  • The Wonderful 101 from Nintendo
  • LEGO® City Undercover from Nintendo
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from Capcom
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted U from Electronic Arts
  • Wii Street U powered by Google from Nintendo
  • New Super Mario Bros. U from Nintendo
  • Nintendo Land from Nintendo

Nintendo 3DS games scheduled to be shown include:

  • Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon from Nintendo
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf from Nintendo (guided demonstration)
  • LEGO® City Undercover: The Chase Begins from Nintendo
  • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity from Nintendo
  • HarmoKnight from Nintendo
  • Kersploosh! from Nintendo
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from Capcom
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
  • Fire Emblem Awakening from Nintendo

“Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity” is slated to come out in North America on March 24 while “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” will be released sometime later this fall in the same region.
