A new fan made image has been posted in regards to the upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by Pokejungle on March 15, the blurry shot allegedly shows the pre-evolution forms of Heracross and Pinsir. However, it was later debunked as a fake illustration that was made by a user on the Serebii Forum. You can check out the fan-made image of Heracross and Pinsir, as well as some official screens from the two role-playing games, in the slideshow at the top of this article.

Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” are expected to come out in the North American region sometime later this year. Six new Pokemon creatures have been revealed so far for the sixth-generation of “Pokemon” games: Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Sylveon, Xerneas and Yveltal.

Game Freak, who was responsible for the other mainline installments, is the studio behind “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” Nintendo is responsible for handling the publishing aspects of the releases. You can pre-order the two games in the following links: “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y”
