The first screens and details may have been leaked regarding three event pocket monsters for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS video games, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by Nintendo Everything on Oct. 31, a player managed to discover the unannounced creatures by looking through the data files of the handheld role-playing titles.
The three event pocket monsters are named Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion. Diancie is a rock and fairy type, which would explain its gem-like appearance. Hoopa is a spirit apparition with ghost and psychic attributes. Finally, Volcanion is described as both a fire and water type. You can check out the screenshots of the leaked creatures, as well as several other shots from “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y,” in the slideshow near the top of this article.
Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion most likely can’t be caught in the wild without the use of a hacking device. Instead, Nintendo may be releasing each of these pocket monsters for players to download at special events. Players have numerous options to acquiring creatures as gifts using the infrared sensor, wireless connection and other methods.
The official list of pocket monster has been increased to 718 in “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” Diancie, Hoopa and Volcanion would add three more spots to the roster. The two video games have been available since Oct. 12. You can order the products from Amazon in the following links: “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y”
