The requirements have been revealed in regards to evolving Eevee into Glaceon, Leafeon and Sylveon in the recently-released handheld video games, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report by Cheat Code Central on Oct. 14, all three evolution forms can only be transformed under special circumstances.
Glaceon and Leafeon require the player to be standing next to special rocks located in the Kalos region. To get Eevee to evolve into Glaceon, you must locate the Ice Rock found in the Frost Cavern. The Moss Rock needed for Leafeon can be found on Route 20 when entering from Snowbelle City.
Sylveon requires a little bit of work compared to the two aforementioned evolution forms in “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” Players must max out the affection, fullness and enjoyment stats while petting and playing mini-games with Eevee. A fairy move should also be taught before the transformation.
Eevee first appeared in the original releases of the “Pokemon” series. The pocket monster could initially evolve into Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon. Game Freak also added the Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon and Umbreon additional evolution forms with subsequent releases. Sylveon debuted with the release of “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y,” which were released by Nintendo exclusive for the 3DS handheld system on Oct. 12 in the North American region.
