Nintendo has revealed more details regarding the first 1.1 patch for the Nintendo 3DS titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a post from the official support website on Oct. 25, the company disclosed that the new title update fixes the global trade system feature in addition to the Lumiose City save glitch.
The 1.1 patch prevents some of the errors from occurring while trading with other players online. Moreover, it will fix the bug that crashes “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” when saving in certain areas of Lumiose City. Players will be able to resume their save files instead of having to start over. However, Nintendo warned that fans should not delete the patch file after installing it.
The title update can be downloaded from the eShop digital store on the Nintendo 3DS. Alternatively, you can scan QR Code from the support website using the camera of the gaming system. Your Nintendo 3DS have to be updated to the latest firmware in order to download the patch for the two video games.
Players can check if their game installed the patch correctly by looking at the bottom while loading the save file.
