Pokemon Trainer Challenge at Six Flags Great America

What can make a day at Six Flags Great America even more exciting for the kids? Pokemon of course! On Sunday, August 10 several Six Flags amusement parks, including Six Flags Great America, will host Pokemon Trainer Challenge.

To kick off the Pokemon promotion, guests at the park on August 10 will have the opportunity to win a four pack of 2015 Season Passes to Six Flags and over $250 worth of Pokemon toys.

The Pokemon Trainer Challenge celebrates the introduction of several new Pokemon toys that are being introduced at Walmart and other major retailers. Pokemon offers a variety of toys for children. From action figures to plush toys, Pokemon toys offer children a way to bring their favorite characters into their home.

The Pokemon Trainer Challenge celebration continues on August 17, 23 and 24 with a branded booth inside the park. Kids will have the opportunity to play with some of the new Pokemon toys. In addition, they can have their photo taken next to a life size Ashe.

The Pokemon Trainer Challenge will be held at Six Flags locations in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, New Jersey and Los Angeles. This special event does not require an additional fee beyond the admission price.

Six Flags Great America is now home to the World's tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster, Goliath. After braving the steepest drop, guests can ride other high adrenaline favorites like Superman, Batman and X flight. Even the smaller stature guests can get thrills on the Whizzer and Demon.

Six Flags Great American is located in Gurnee, Illinois. Ticket prices vary depending on date of purchase, but single day tickets are around $50 a guest. Parking is an additional fee.
