'Pokemon' gets new Keldeo event

Keldeo is making a return to “Pokemon” on Jan. 25 according to an announcement made today. Originally Keldeo could only be obtained by those that went to a participating GameStop during a promotion a few months back.

If you were one of the unlucky ones that weren’t able to get Keldeo at that time you’ll now get a second chance with this new event. This time GameStop doesn’t seem to be involved and the event seems to resemble the one for Genesect.

If this turns out to be the case, players will simply need to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi and they will be able to receive Keldeo making it a lot less stressful than having to go all the way to a GameStop. This promotion is only for those with “Pokemon Black Version 2” and “Pokemon White Version 2” so make sure you have one of those before attempting.

This Keldeo is going to have the following four moves, Sacred Sword, Hydro Pump, Aqua Jet, and Swords Dance. You may also complete an in-game event that will allow Keldeo to switch to its Resolute Form.
