The app, which has been delayed since December 26, allows gamers to trade Pokémon from older versions of the game and store them in online clouds, rather than in-game.

IBT also reported that those who downloaded the apps received the mythical Pokémon Celebi. That offer is reportedly available to anyone who downloads the apps through September 30.

Nintendo has yet to announce the release of the apps on their official social media channels and has not announced when the apps will be released in the United States and the rest of North America.

For those who have the apps, how do you feel about the release? Has the downloading and configuration process been a smooth one? Tell us in the comments section below.
