'Pokémon' anime to begin streaming on Netflix in March

On Feb. 27, The Pokémon Company International announced that starting in March, Netflix would begin streaming the "Pokémon" animated series, based on the popular video game franchise.

Netflix will begin streaming both the first season, "Pokémon: Indigo League," and the most recent season, "Pokémon: Black and White." Both seasons give fans the chance to catch up on the adventures of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, and to see how the storied adventure began for the young trainer from Pallet Town.

While "Pokémon: Indigo League" will only be available to Netflix members in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, the most recent season, "Pokémon: Black and White," will be available to all Netflix members. In addition, both "Pokémon: Black and White" movies, "Pokémon the Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram" and "Pokémon the Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom," will also be available to all Netflix members.

You can begin your "Pokémon" marathon when Netflix begins streaming the animé on March 1.
