With the release of Pokémon X and Y on a fast approach, I thought it might be a good idea if I start covering Pokémon in depth. There are at current over 640 of them, so I feel that getting started right away might be a good idea.
004 – Charmander, 005 – Charmeleon, 006 - Charizard
This is a lizard Pokémon, most famous for being a starter Pokémon in Red, Blue and Green. He was also a starter in Fire Red and Leaf Green. It was available as an event Pokémon in Yellow, and has been an event Pokémon 7 times, with all of those times being in the Japan. Charmander is small and orange, and though he turns red when evolving, he changes right back when he reaches the Charizard stage.
My first thoughts on Charmander, was oh, that’s nice, but I liked Bulbasaur better.
Charmander, and his evolutions are fire type Pokémon. When Charmander evolves it loses its cute exterior then gains wings to look like a English dragon. The Charmander set isn’t big on combos, but back in the original game, it could learn a nonstop rage move that would have your enemies thinking twice.
Well that’s it for the next 3…. Another 643 to cover yet, then I can get into the x and y Pokémon. I’ll be covering the complete evolution chain with each one. But for now, good luck and god speed gamers.
