Point Richmond Jazz closes its 2013-14 season Friday night with a performance by the Kit Eakle Trio and DjangoSphere featuring Jonathan Alford (piano) and Alex Baum (bass). The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. at the historic Point Richmond United Methodist Church. And, as with all the performances in this series, it emphasizes the best in jazz violin.
If you haven’t checked out Port Richmond Jazz, organizers are providing some extra incentive for this weekend. It comes in the form of a deal wherein you buy a 2014-15 season ticket and get into Friday night’s show free of charge. Here’s the lineup, featuring both regional and national artists.
