This picture says it all (from ibelieve.com). The devil's strategy is through ‘divide and conquer.’ Once we settle the matter in our need for The Savior, Jesus Christ, then we whoop this miscreant.
I love what Joyce Meyer once said: “It is our job to catch them, and God's job to clean them.” When we try to clean people up, we make more of a mess. How can we clean someone else up when we are dirty ourselves?
We need to share the love of God, through Christ, with each other. “It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance” (Romans 2:4). We must show people their need for a Savior, a way out—the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). People need to know they have a Savior, whom they can call on to deliver them from every decision, lifestyle, habit, and condition that is less than what God has for each and every one of us.
Let's give the devil a Divine beat-down today family, by not looking at what divides us; but rather looking at, Looking to, the One in Whom we are united.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (Romans 5:8, John 3:16-17).
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I encourage you to do it today, right now, by saying this prayer out loud: “Jesus, forgive me for my sins. I am sorry. I truly desire to be saved and reconciled back to God, my Father, through You. I receive Your sinless Blood as payment in full for my sins—past, present, and future. I now call You my Lord and Savior, and invite You to live within my heart, and to permanently live within me. I make You Lord over me and over my life from this moment on. Amen.” Congratulations! You are now a child of God, made whole and made new, by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
