Friday, November 18, Poetry Headz Cafe will kick off their open mic at the Locker Room Sports Lounge located at 205 West Capitol Street in downtown Jackson. The cover is only $5 and there will be drink specials all night! Make sure to bring your ID as only the "Grown& Poetic" can attend. Doors open at 8pm.
If you haven’t checked out the Nameless Poets open mic set at Suite 106 then you are most definitely missing out! Stop by Saturday, November 19, to speak your piece or support some of Jackson's finest poets. Located about 5 minutes from Jackson State at 106 Wilmington Street, you're sure to love the cool and urban vibe of Suite 106. Doors open at 8pm with a $3 cover for signing the "Spit List" and just $5 for supporters.
