Poems remembering September 11

OC poets, as you know, today is Saturday, September 11, 2010.  It is a day to remember the events that took place nine years ago today. As poets residing in Orange County we have a unique vision of the events of 9/11, and of the events that have transpired since. Writing poetry is an excellent way to memorialize individuals lost in the attack on American soil, lost in terrorist attacks the world over, and lost in war(s) that followed the September 11 attacks.

I have collected here poems in remembrance of September 11, 2001 and linked to them. I have also included a poem written by your Santa Ana Poetry Examiner (me) at the bottom.  Read, enjoy, write, and share.
