The growing listenership of podcasts has spurred the launch of PodcastOne.com, “a single, online destination that makes it easier than ever to discover, download and enjoy the most popular podcasts”, as described in a statement released by Launchpad Digital Media. According to the release, the site is “already home to more than 200 major podcasts including those from some of the biggest names in radio, news and entertainment, such as: Adam Carolla, CBS News, Dr. Drew, Tom Green, Dennis Miller, Ron Paul, Laura Ingraham, Penn Jillette, Maria Menonunos and more.”

Sarasota based, independently produced and syndicated financial talk show “Phil’s Gang” hosted by Phil Grande, will expand its platform on the Business TalkRadio Network beginning March 11. Grande dispenses investment information to his listeners daily between 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. from a studio in downtown Sarasota, FL. The show airs locally in Tampa Bay on WLSS 930 AM.

College basketball action on CBS Sports Network this week is highlighted by a doubleheader tonight (Wednesday) beginning with an Atlantic 10 matchup between Saint Joseph’s and No. 18-ranked Saint Louis at 8:00 p.m.. Brad Johansen and Steve Wolf call the action at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. San Diego State at No. 14-ranked New Mexico follows at 10:00 p.m. from The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M. Dave Ryan announces, along with analysts Steve Lappas and Doug Gottlieb.
Studio programming on Wednesday begins with “Courtside with Seth Davis” at 6:30 p.m., featuring interviews with Memphis head coach Josh Pastner and www.CBSSports.com bracketology expert Jerry Palm. “Inside College Basketball” at 7:30 p.m. and midnight brackets tonight’s live-game action.
