Let's face it, not every woman is 5"10" and a size two, however, both designers and retailers like to treat women as if "one size fits all", and, while a few designers and stores have begun to at least acknowledge that petites and plus size women want designer wear too, they are still lagging behind and it is a shame. Plus size women made one step forward on August 1, 2013 when H&M FINALLY launched a website for the USA market for plus size women.
The plus size website features sizes 14 to 24, and, even has hard to find plus size lingerie and tights! Now that's a reason to celebrate. And, while the H&M plus size site doesn't have the same variety of choices as the main website, it isn't all bad, and, neither is the pricing on most garments (ranging between $9.99 to $49.99 for most items.)
