Many people have parts of their bodies that they might want to change. But one Los Angeles woman doesn't want to do anything to alter her huge hips.
Mikel Ruffinelli, a 420-pound mother of four has hips that measure a eight-foot round.
At just five-foot-four, 39-year-old Ruffinelli is much wider than she is tall. However, she likes her body this way.
She tells the Sun, "I love my shape and I see no reason to diet because I don’t have health problems. Men don’t fancy skinny girls, they like an hourglass figure."
She may like her shape, but it has caused some difficulties. Ruffinelli has to walk through most doors sideways. She drives a truck because she can’t fit into a car. At her house, the woman with the widest hips in the world has to sit in steel-supported chairs and sleeps on a 7ft-wide bed.
The plus-size model and mother of four says, her curves are all natural. She says her weight and hips grew each time after childbirth. But she says she doesn't want to lose any weight.
It's important to have a good body image. However, it's also important to be at a healthy weight. What do you think about Ruffinelli's huge hips?
