Plumber gets Royal Couple tattooed on teeth

With the Royal Wedding just hours away, people around the world are anxiously awaiting Friday’s “wedding of the century.”   While most royal watchers purchase special plates, tea towels or books to commemorate the momentous occasion, one British man has taken royal souvenirs to a brand new level!

Barmy Baz Franks is sporting a brand new tattoo in honor of the occasion.  According to reports, the 29-year-old British plumber reportedly asked his dentist to tattoo images of Prince William and Catherine Middleton on his two front teeth! Now that's something to smile about!    Franks said, “I love the royal family and this was my way of lending my support to their big day.”

Clifton Dental Studio’s Dr. Neil Gerrard performed the unusual procedure.  Gerrard first created the designs on paper then used tiny stencils and brushes to paint the images on the teeth.  The entire procedure took about six hours to complete. Gerrard is accreditted by the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has an interest in advanced cosmetic dentistry.  He also has written a book, "There is No Perfect Dentist."

But no worries – the tat isn’t permanent.  The royal “gnash tat” will be visible for three months. The procedure cost nearly $2,000 and shows a smiling couple. More images are available on SWNS.
