A company that prides itself on offering a multitude of healthy, nutrient-rich organic foods for babies, toddlers, and kids has issued a voluntary recall of some of its' most popular products.

Plum Organics is urging customers to double check their pantry shelves for any of their pouch products within its' Baby Stage 2, Tots Mish Mash, and Kids lines. The company recently discovered a manufacturing defect that may cause spoilage in many of their pouch products.

Consumers of Plum Organics products should look on the packaging for "Best By" dates ranging from 8/15/14 - 12/08/14 along with the letters "AT." In some cases, the spoilage may cause the defective pouches to swell.

If you have any of the recalled food in your home, contact Plum Organics Consumer Hotline at 866-495-3774 or email to request a replacement voucher.

In a statement, Plum Organics insists that they are taking every action to ensure their highest standards are being met.
