Halloween no longer means just dressing up on the 31st and going Trick or Treating. There are a number of events for kids and adults to enjoy the holiday in the Centennial area sponsored by South Suburban Parks and Recreation and The Streets At SouthGlenn. Some events listed are free and others have admission charges.
Friday October 18th 530pm-8pm Goodson Recreation Center
Description: A safe “trick or treat” experience for children up to 11 years old that includes a Haunted House, A Little Haunted House, Cookie Walk, Arts & Crafts, Trick or Treat Street and more. Cost is $4 pre-registered online and $6 after Oct 17th and at the door.
Monster Mash, Halloween Bash
Saturday October 19th 6pm-9pm Family Sports Center
Description: For kids and adults. Enjoy a spooky laser tag challenge, eXerGame Zone, inflatabiles, bumper cars and the climbing wall. From 8pm-9pm a Halloween skate and costume contest. Skate rental included. No masks due to safety concerns. Cost is $10, $8 district
Friday October 25 4:30 - 7:30pm The Streets At SouthGlenn
Description: Bring the kids for safe and spooky trick or treating at The Streets at SouthGlenn's second annual Halloween celebration. Candy and surprises from merchants. Free
Hoofin’ it Through The Hollows Run
Saturday October 26 5pm-Finish deKoevend Park
Description: Take a spooky sprint at dusk along the Highline Canal in a 5k Run/Walk. Prizes for best costumes. Free kids fun run sprint at 5:25pm. Race will be timed using timing chip technology. Pre-registration fee is $25 ($30 fee day of race) and includes race t-shirt and goodies. Register by Friday, October 18 to guarantee t-shirt size.
Halloween Rec & Rock-Night of the Living Dead
Saturday October 26 7pm-10:30pm Lone Tree Rec Center
Description: Kids ages 7-14 come for crazy games, contests, concessions and costumers. $10 Fee
