Perhaps this year more than any recent one, the lack of snow has left Lake Tahoe ski resorts anxious to get more skiers and snowboarders interested in a trip to the slopes. While the overall attendance numbers are down this year, it’s not from a lack of persuasion.
Practically every resort is currently offering a tempting deal that will reduce the cost of a regular adult ski ticket. And in many cases, the savings are considerable. So why pay full price?
Below is a sampling of bargains being offered by 10 Lake Tahoe ski resorts:
ALPINE/SQUAW: This attractive “Tahoe Super 2” offer was just announced late last week by the two North Tahoe resorts that now operate under the same ownership. The deal is for two unrestricted days of skiing or snowboarding at either resort for $98, which breaks down to $49 per lift ticket.
Note that the “Tahoe Super 2” is a limited offer that runs through Friday (Feb. 17).
The pass can be used for two days at one resort or for one visit each to Squaw or Alpine. The deal also includes two additional Friday afternoons of skiing or riding.
