Pleasant Hill announces 2014 Chill on the Hill concert schedule

The Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce announced the schedule and musical acts this week for the 2014 Chill on the Hill concert series. The series (featuring Central Iowa party/cover bands) will run every Friday from May 30 through June 27 at the Copper Creek Lake Park (4400 East University Avenue). The events will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and food, alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on site. Admission is $8, and that will include two drink tickets. You must be 21 or older to attend. No pets or outside food or beverage will be allowed.

Here is a look at the schedule of bands for this year's Chill on the Hill.

May 30: Death by Monkeys (Ames pop/rock cover band)
June 6: Cold Filtered (Des Moines 80's rock cover band)
June 13: After Shock (Des Moines 80's rock cover band)
June 20: Standing Hampton (Ames 70's and 80's rock cover band)
June 27: Gimikk (Des Moines rock band playing originals and covers)
