Monday saw temperatures start out cool in the 40s, then warm into the lower 70s under clear skies and light easterly winds. Tuesday is going to be pretty much a carbon copy of Monday as temperatures started off in the 40s under clear skies and light winds. Highs Tuesday will again reach the 70 degree mark. Wednesday looks to feature more of the same as the surface high pressure off to our north continues to slowly drift eastward.
Starting on Thursday however winds will blow more out of the south and temperatures will moderate to the upper 70s. Temperatures Friday and Saturday look to moderate even further to near 80 or the lower 80s ahead of an approaching cold front. Models now show the front passing through later Saturday and during the overnight hours into Sunday morning. Most of Saturday should be very warm and pleasant, but by the afternoon clouds will be on the increase as the front approaches with a chance of showers and thunderstorms near or after midnight. Depending on clouds Saturday, temperatures might reach the mid-80s in some spots, especially south and west of the area.
Sunday looks to start damp and cloudy, but as the day progresses skies will clear, especially in the afternoon and temperatures will be near 70. Next week looks to start dry and seasonably warm right now. Monday looks sunny and dry with highs in the low 70s. After Saturday our next chance of rain doesn’t look possible until maybe the end of next week. Temperatures much of next week and to start October look like this week. Overnight lows in the upper 40s to near 50 and highs in the lower to middle 70s.
